If you really wanted to, there's an uninstall option from within the Jaws
menu in the start menu, but it's really not necessary and can perhaps cause
more headaches with unintended consequences than anything else. Lots of
people have different versions of Jaws on their computers. Just select which
version you want to run as default.
I always set up my upgrades as clean versions and don't use the merge
utility, but that's really just personal preference.

You just update your authorization from the Help Menu of you
current JAWS, using your Authorization. If you don't have it,
contact Customer Service with your Serial Number and
Authorization Number. Then, install JAWS 16 from the JAWS
Download Page and the License will make it the Home Edition.

No need to uninstall anything.
Eric

Hi, I recently got the jaws home use license. I will be
installing this license with a sighted person. How do I start by
uninstalling the old copy before needing a sighted person? I have
the jaws pro version and will be moving to the home use.
