From: Brian Lee Hello, 1. Use Alt+F followed by Alt+T to go into Word options. 2. Press S to move to the Save category. 3. Tab to the checkbox "don't show the backstage when opening or saving files" and press spacebar to check it. 4. Tab to OK and use spacebar. If you also don't want the backstage opening when you open word do the following: 1. Press Alt+F followed by Alt+T to go into Word options. 2. The first category is general. Tab across the options in this category. When you get to the "Show the start screen when this application starts" checkbox use spacebar to uncheck it if it is checked. 3. Tab to OK and press spacebar. 4. Close Word and open it again to make sure your options stayed as you set them. If not then you might try restarting your system. Take care. Brian Lee Take care.
