Hi Eric and all,
This is slightly off topic but since you are working with Amazon you might
be able to address the following with them as I think I got nowhere. Amazon
has failed to update the Kindle for PC program so that it does not work with
with any Windows operating system version after Windows 7 for screen
readers. The regular Kindle for PC versions I found to not work. I spoke
with their tech support a few weeks ago and they took a trouble report and
I've heard nothing. I am not aware of any work arounds for this and as a
result I had to drop out of a book discussion group I was going to
participate in as I didn't have time to scan the book and it wasn't
available from any other sources. While there were drawbacks to Kindle for
PC it was usable. thanks.

Hi All,
We are looking into the issues. Some of our searches work on ResearchIt with
Amazon, some do not. We are also in direct contact with people at Amazon
that should be able to help work through the questions if they turn out to
be on their side.
Thanks for your patience on this one. We're also working on getting a
solution for Sports Scores...
Regards,

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Amazon research it not working for months
Hello Gang:
I haven't been able to use it for months. Using latest JAWS and IE 11. Have
deleted cookies. Haven't used amazon.com/access either.
A long time ago, I did click on the link that was supposed to provide
information about their screen reader changes. That was nothing but talking
about amazon.com/access. Wonder if that permanently "marked Me" as a screen
reader user, and, by default, locked me into amazon.com/access? Don't think
so, because I can still go to amazon.com.
Using windows 7 on a two year old Dell laptop.
Can the FS folks not get in touch with the amazon folks to explain the
difficulty? Surely FS can delve into the guts of the web design.
