Hi.
The easiest way to shutdown a computer typically is to go to the desktop
with windows key+m, and press alt+f4 from there. This applies from
pretty much any version of windows to my knowledge. Actually, there is
an even easier way, hit the power button ( don't hold it in). Of course,
that method depends on what the power button is set to do in the power
options.
