Neil,
I have been using IE 11 on Windows 7 Home 64-bit with Jaws 13 and 14 for
about three years and have had no problems. Of course, I come across web
sites that do not always work as I would like. When I encounter them, the
first thing that I do is to try the offending site using Firefox and NVDA.
In some cases, I will be able to navigate around the problem. More often
than not, it is poor website design and I encounter the same roadblock with
FF and NVDA.
Overall, IE 11 has been more stable and performs faster than all of its
predecessors.

Hello Gang:
I got a refurbished Windows 7 machine last year to replace an xp. Two
people have tried to upgrade to something higher than IE 9. Neither was
successful.
One of those techs was at the MS Accessibility desk. They got IE 11, but
it
was unuseable, as in could not use the bank web site plus others.
I called MS back to roll it back to IE 9. Now, I have no problems.
Not sure what I am going to do with this news!
Neil

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Time to Upgrade to IE 11
Microsoft recently announced that it will end support for older versions
of
Internet Explorer on Jan. 12, 2016, less than three months from now, so if
you are running Windows 7 or later as most of us are, you will have to
upgrade to IE 11 in order to continue receiving security updates and
patches. Beginning on that date, IE 10 and earlier will no longer be
supported for Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10. So now may be a good time to
upgrade to IE 11 if you have not already done so, or consider switching to
Firefox full time if you are having trouble with IE 11. Click below for
