Janie,
when you run windows update, tab until you get to an installed updates link. activate it and start looking for a KB3035583 entrie, press the app key and choose to uninstall it. finally, let the computer reboot to finish the uninstallation. next, run windows update again and check for updates. when it's finished, you should find that there's a critical update. activate this category which should reveil the KB3035583 patch. while it is checked, press the app key and press enter on hide. alt+f4, and vwah la, no more pesky icon! if it should come back, your best bet is to just repeat the steps to hide it again.

System Tray Icons
Hi All,

Running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit & Jaws 16 latest. Out of curiosity, is
there any way of changing the order of the system tray icons in which
they appear after invoking the, Insert + F11, keystroke? My safely
remove hardware icon used to be at the top but, for whatever reason it
has just recently started showing at the bottom of the list. It's no
big deal but, like I said, it's more of a curiosity than anything else.
Thanks much.
Take care.
Mike
