I have been often frustrated when I would complete a cumbersome web form only to find that I could not activate the submit button. Sometimes I have found that this will happen when you have left out a required item, or for some reason they just didn't like the way you filled out the form.

I note that many of the e-mails I get read the subject line and then stop, rest of the screen is blank. Using Jaws 17 latest, tried Jaws key X to switch through the different smart navigation views, pages that used to read are now blank. Using Outlook 2010 Windows 7. I am still waiting for a satisfactory solution. -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of joanne Sent: Friday, November 27, 2015 8:05 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [JAWS-Users] on some websites I can't activate buttons On some websites I run across buttons I can't click on with space or enter. I try routing cursors, turning off virtual cursor, left clicking, just about everything I can think of but the keystroke won't work to get me to the next page. I see it a lot on banking sites and on submit or continue buttons. Due to the configuration of some newer websites with maybe too many graphics--just making a guess--is there just no way to be able to use buttons and therefore the inability to complete tasks on these sites without sighted help? I truly hope there's an answer and that it's not impossible to use these sites independently. Thanks.
