I have never seen the "##" option. But, when I just went and checked,  the
other downloads had completed. And, today the Windows 10 check box showed
up. A couple weeks ago it was in the list. Last week, it was not listed. Go
figure. I guess they are trying to sneak us into it.

You have to click on the "## optional updates" link in the Windows Update
window. You'll find a reference to the Windows 10 update in there. Arrow
down to it and hit the [Spacebar] to uncheck it. Then you'll be able to
continue with the d/l of the important updates you really want to get. Even
though normally any updates listed under "Optional" aren't checked as a
default, Microsoft has decided to check the Windows 10 update. Figure that
LOL!
