I don't know, what's the difference?all I know is if I view some documents in word 2016 jaws announces the document is being prepared for reading or something. jaws also says the document will be missing some elements and not be like the original.

Reader DC is the latest version of Adobe Reader, & for lack of a better
explanation, it's a cloud version of Adobe Reader.  If it's Adobe Reader DC

That's not Adware.  It's just how Adobe labels their installers.  Here's an
example of 1 of their installers:

AdbeRdr11010_en_US

This is an installer / executable for Adobe 11.10.
