Hmmmmmm -- don't remember where I saw this, but I'm sure that it was
somewhere on the Adobe site and it definitely stated that the new Reader DC
was "free for the first 30 days." I'm at a loss to explain why it kills JAWS
for me, but it does so and it's 100% consistent. The only positive for me
(and since it kills JAWS, this is of rather limited value) is that scanned
image documents can now be rendered readable. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit
with JAWS 16 and 17.

Hi Walt,

I've had it installed for a lot longer than 30 days & it still works just
fine. The install went smooth with Jaws reporting the progress throughout
the installation. I went into preferences after the installation & made the

same adjustments as I did in Adobe XI & it works just fine with any PDF file

i have saved. I've only had to access a couple of on line PDF files & was
able to read them just fine as well. I'm running Jaws 15 thru 17, Windows 7

Pro, & IE10.
Take care.
Mike
