There is a Mcafee removal tool to totally remove Mcafee. I think you can get
it from their site. otherwise a regular uninstall does leave a bunch of junk
behind.

7 box, I can't remember the name of it, but there is a mcafee volt that I have
no idea how to remove. Thoughts?

Is there any problems removing MacAfee anti virus software. I know a few years
ago I could not remove Norton from my daughter's computer. even their removal
tool did not work.
The lap top came with a 30 day free MacAfee antivirus. For vipre I had
purchased a 2 year 2 computer package. For $29 I can add the 3rd computer. I
still have 13 months on that contract.
