One would think that direct should be cheaper than the Tandem center because
if I understand it right, direct requires you to enter an IP address to make
a direct connection, where the center goes through servers at FS.

JAWS tandom works in windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10, as well as vista and xp.
with reguards to a tandom direct setion vs centewr. ... with tandom
direct, you have to buy it with your jaws ltcense or with your SAM. I'm
not sure if you gotta pay for direct sessions, but it;s $200 to get the
fearure added to your lycense. tandom center is free. not subscription
based at all.

have not found answers to my questions.
