Hi George, I am using the latest version of Zoomtext on my W7 and w10 computers. I have also been using Jaws 16 and Jaws 17 and have had no issues. The only issues is I have to turn off some hot keys in Zoomtext. Other than that I have had no issues using Jaws and Zoomtext together for the last three or four years.

For the last 10-12 years I have used both a screen reader & screen enlarger. In spite of what FS tells you they do not work & play well together. When I first began I used Zoomtext with JAWS and they fought constantly. FS tech support kept telling me that both MAGic & JAWS were developed by the same developer & of course they would not fight. So, I switched from Zoomtext to JAWS. They do conflict; not as bad as with Zoomtext in the mix but they do conflict. That is most likely why they are not anxious to add a video feature to JAWS. George If I continue to do the same things I have always done and am believing for change in my life That is a form of insanity! Not sure why it cannot be addressed by them. Perhaps more requests from folks for this feature might help. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Maria Campbell" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, February 01, 2016 7:11 PM Subject: [JAWS-Users] Caret browsing > On the other JAWS user's list, we have been discussing how to get > better help from the sighted, when needed, while browsing with JAWS. > It has been > stated many times over, that under normal settings, sighted people > mostly can't tell where we are on a web page. > Two suggested remedies mentioned are caret browsing, invoked by f7, > and JAWS cursor follow PC cursor, invoked by pressing insert plus > control plus > numpad minus. > I'd be interested to know if anyone has any other suggestions, or > knowledge of any harmful effects of these seemingly helpful, but not > widely known, features of JAWS. > > -- > Maria Campbell > [email protected] > > When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will > know peace. > --Attributed to Jimi Hendrix > > > For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: > http://www.jaws-users.com/help/ For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/ For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/ For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/ For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/
