We have problems with early laptops with lenova. I have a old one and even when we touch the pad it came back on when it rebooted. If you remove the software windows takes over the touch pad. If you can ask some one to look at the documentation. I bought a asus computer and the documentation was very poor. You could go to the website and see if you can find the manual.
