Hi if you are talking about outlook 2013 here are the steps I use.
Control shift E is the command to start this. You will be asked for a name
type the name of the folder you want. Tab twice and then up arrow once and
tab once and then hit space bar once.

Hi my partner is using Outlook 2013, windows 8.1 and JFW 16 Home edition.

We are wanting to make a few folders so he can put particular emails into
them.

If some kind soul out there can give me easy to follow instructions it would
very much be appreciated as I've tried and can't seem to find how to create
