I just looked for the Mute button with the virtual cursor on, then turned it 
off 
and made sure I was on it and then used up or down arrow as appropriate.

Once you do that, that volume remains in effect whenever you view other videos 
on Youtube.

You need to adjust the volume in the Youtube player.

Open a Youtube video.

While it is playing, find the Mute button.  You need to then be focused on this
button with the virtual cursor off.

WHen you are on the mute button, you can press up arrow and down arrow to raise
and lower the volume respectively.

lately when I view youtube content on internet explorer the volume is low.  even
if I download them using dvdvideosoft youtube to mp3 converter the downloaded
file is still low.  the master volume on my computer is at 100 percent and my
windows media player volume is at 100 percent what else needs to be at max
volume?
