Once you re-start JAWS have you tried an insert plus Control plus Escape? This should re-initialize the scripts. robin

I would like to pick your brains with this one. Jaws is running. I press insert spacebar s and jaws announces speech off. I press control alt n and NVDA starts. I turn off speech on NVDA using insert s, NVDA announces speech mode off. I press the pass through command for NVDA wich is insert f2. Then I press insert spacebar s and jaws announces speech on. Fantastic I figured this one out but things can never be easy a new problem arises. I can't at this point use my up and down arrow keys to read in a word document or email jaws absolutely says nothing. If I try arrowing up and down on the desk top jaws reads everything on my desktop as usual. Any ideas how to solve this one?
