Hi Brian I tried all of that but word would not recognize the Greek, after
some lengthy research on the internet and a call to Microsoft accessibility
it turns out that the file I have to run is proofing tools_el-gr_86.exe.
It does work now however it's not the greatest spell check. I think I'm
going to invest in getting a whole language pack I think it's 24 bucks, and
that isn't to bad. The language pack I have for 2010 works much better then
this free tool they offer. Thanks for trying to help.

Hello Zoe,

In Word 2013 you can set the default proofing language. Use Alt key
followed by R to get to the review tab of the ribbon. Tab to Language
submenu and press enter key. Set Proofing Language is one of the two items
in this submenu. Choose the Set Proofing Language. In the dialog box that
appears there is a checkbox for detecting language automatically and a Set
as Default button. Make sure that English United States is selected in the
list of languages before using the Set as Default button.

I don't have the earlier messages in this thread, so hopefully, this is what
you are needing.

Take care.

I did as you said and installed the language proofing tools el-gr-64.exe It
told me to accept the licence I checked the box clicked continue and it told
me I'm all most there I need to restart word. I did this but it doesn't
work.
I purposely typed in Greek miss spelled words.
I click f7 and word tells me the spelling and grammer is complete you are
good to go. The only option it gives me is ok.
Any ideas? Is there maybe some setting I have to change in word?

hi Zoe;
on the page you should have seen;
Microsoft Office Proofing Tools 2013 - English Select Language:
English
Download
there would have been a combo box,
select language combo box,
if you would have,
pressed, alt+down-arrow, this would have allowed you to use the down arrow
key to get to the Greek proofing tool.
I would think you should install the 64bit,

David while I was waiting for an answer, I decided to play more with the
website. So what do I mean, there is a combo box to choose the language you
want, but when I open that box it doesn't let me arrow up and down to choose
the language. Anyhow after using the pass through key command a thousand
times I finally got to the greek language.
I have a question for you I'm running windows 10 jaws 17, office 2013. The
files I downloaded have the following extentions.-64.exe, and the other one
-86.exe Do you know which one I should run?
The 64 or 86?

Subject: [JAWS-Users] language packs for office 2013

So on Friday I purchased my office 2013.
I tried to go to the office.com to get the free add ons for proofing tools
in another language but no luck.
Any ideas how maybe I could do it through the settings in Microsoft word?
I did find my old cd for 2010 and a long with that a thumb drive of an old
2010 language pack. Even though this is office 2013 would I be able to
install the 2010 language pack?
p.s. How funny is it that I got kicked off Jim's list and a week later I
found the cd for office 2010. Oh well everything happends for a reason.
Second p.s. thank you to all for your great help and support.
