Arianna, with the black Friday sales here I purchased an HP laptop computer.
I then discovered that it did not have wireless or Bluetooth. I had to
purchase a usb card for each.

Please give us the model number of your system.

A complex system that does not work is invariably found to have evolved
from
a simpler system that worked perfectly.

What does the user manual for your laptop say?

No switch on any side and function keys didn't do it with or without the
FN
key.

It may be a switch on the side, or a combination of the Fn key and one of
your f1 - f12 keys.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Turning on wireless
I have two HP laptops here using Windows7 and JAWS 16 which I can't get
wireless to turn on. I've tried everything I know so I'm wondering if
anyone has any suggestions. If airplane mode is on, is there a keystroke
to
turn it off?
I've run my fingers along at the top of the laptop. I've tried the
function
keys with and without the FN key. I've looked for a slide switch or
button
on the laptop. I've tried Windows Mobility Center. No go! Please
help,
if you can.
