Hi.

According to a quick google search, his switch is located just above the f7 key and is a capacitive touch button.

Hi,
Try giving MSA a call because I think you can still connect with them, even
though your wifi is not connected.

See if this works:

Open IE and press control O.

Type in,
Support.microsoft.com/help

If, you reach their website, call them

Most laptop have a external wireless switch on the outside ( In the front or
sides.)

The internal can be toggle with the FN key + a function key,
Different laptop types MFG's will be different.

Write back, a probably another memember uses your brand of laptop and can
give you the command to toggle it on/off.

HTH,
Jorge

I only have NVDA on this laptop since I can't install JAWS unless I'm able
to go online. I couldn't do this in the Sys Tray with NVDA.]

Hi,
System tray and arrow to your unconnected signal.

Press the tab key 3 times to double left click, press spacebar.
Enter on network setting link.
Now tab through the menu, check wireless is turned on.

Tab and hopefully will see all networks,
Locate yours and enter, then have the password ready in your mind and type
it out.

Try Device manager.
Under Network adaptors.
Highlight the wireless adaptor.
Press the applications key and make sure it is enabled.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Turning on wireless

I have two HP laptops here using Windows7 and JAWS 16 which I can't get
wireless to turn on. I've tried everything I know so I'm wondering if
anyone has any suggestions. If airplane mode is on, is there a keystroke
to turn it off?

I've run my fingers along at the top of the laptop. I've tried the
function keys with and without the FN key. I've looked for a slide
switch

or button on the laptop. I've tried Windows Mobility Center. No go!
Please help, if you can.
