I am using a win 7 32 bit machine. I had 3 usb devices connected. My external hd, a thumb drive and an Olympus ls 7 recorder. When finished I wanted to remove the devices. Under safely remove hardware the Olympus recorder was first listed. I removed that from the system. Then for the second check the computer did not identify the thumb drive and my ex hd. I turned the computer off so I could detach the other devices. Is there something that I could do to refresh the usb list?
