I just spent some time on the phone with John Carson. We did a few test maneuvers and he says he thinks he's on the trail of the problem. He says he'll pass the issue along to development and let me know when they resolve it. I'm impressed with how quickly FS jumped on this problem and will keep the list posted on what happens. As a side note, the only change I regularly make in my attachmate configurations is unchecking the box to use the extended insert as a jaws key since I need it to function as an insert key.
