Try running a repair using the instructions.
Download the JAWSR screen reading software version 17.0 update to the root

Subject: [JAWS-Users] running a repair, jaws 17, win10?

Hi all,

On my desktop jaws won't start automatically.
Is the only way to do a repair by pressing enter on the downloaded file or
is there another way to do a repair with a command line?
Is there a difference between pressing enter on the exe and selecting repair
or using the command line?
