I ran a repair last week after the latest update failed to complete. (The
update reached the "installing JawsPatch" stage and never continued past that
point.) I ran the repair with the new version of JAWS, i.e., the installer of
the updated release.

The repair completed, but unfortunately it produced a dialogue during
installation that reported an "unknown exception", as I recall.

JAWS runs apparently correctly, but I wouldn't be surprised if there were
issues left over from the repair process.

When this machine is upgraded, if I still experience updates that fail to
install, I'll submit a report to Technical Support.
