There is an ad on for all browsers called Add Block Plus. There is a version
for every browser. Just type Add Block Plus into Google, and choose the
browser that you are on at that time, and Add Block Plus will install on
your browser. this will keep adds from coming up in the first place. Very
good at blocking adds.

Not to be contentious, but this has never worked for me.  Refreshing the
page (i.e. pressing F5) always starts another ad.
