Try the following;

1, navigate to the drive, and highlight the folder in which you would like
to pin to the taskbar,

2, press, shift+applications key, up arrow and enter on, copy as path,

3, now go to desktop, ctrl+spacebar to unselect any icon,
Press applications key,
up/down arrow
until you hear new submenu, right arrow to open,
arrow and choose new shortcut, press enter,

4, now paste from clipboard,
You should see the drive letter and name of folder,
Now tab next,
Hear your being asked for a name, just leave the name, however, you must
add,
The word,
Explorer with a space after,

So the name should look like,
Explorer "E:\InformationNotes"

Now tab finish press enter.

Now, go to desktop, find the folder shortcut,
Press applications key, up arrow and enter on pin to taskbar.
Hope this helps,

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Pinning A Folder Shortcut To The Taskbar

Hi All,

Running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit & Jaws 16. I have a folder on my data drive
that I access frequently & would like to tin a shortcut I created for this
folder to the taskbar, but when I open the context menu with this shortcut
highlighted I don't get the Pin To Taskbar option. Is it possible to pin
folder shortcuts to the taskbar? I've only pinned programs so, if it's
possible to pin a folder shortcut to the taskbar , would someone please
explain how to do so? Thank y'all very much.
Take care.
Mike
FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION! It comes bundled with the software. Go Dodgers!
