Hi David,

Yes, & this person having the trouble tried the, Alt + F4, keystroke without 
success, which I found out later, along with other keystrokes, but the only 
way she was able to get the calculator closed was rebooting the computer, 
for whatever reason.  Thanks again for all your help.

If I accidentally turn on the calculator in Windows 7 on my Dell laptop, I
always get out of it with a simple Alt f4.

The weird thing is that Jaws does not give you the standard exit
announcement, but the command does seem to exit out of the calculator for
me.
