Rick, Thanks for the suggestion but it didn't solve my problem. The notebook has a dedicated AMD graphics card and I'm wondering if that is causing the problem. I have emailed FS support. Greg

It's called keyboard help. The keystroke you are looking for is, Jaws key + 2 on the number row. HTH, Rick Justice Tomorrow's another day, another way! and if tomorrow never comes, problem solved! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Greg Washington" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, June 30, 2016 5:48 PM Subject: [JAWS-Users] How to adjust keyboard options in latest Jaws 17 For some reason on my new Dell notebook computer I cannot find where to have Jaws speak the keys as I type. I looked in Jaws basic options and found nothing to do with how I want Jaws to respond as I type. I would like Jaws to speak each key as I type. I thought this was the default setting but apparently not. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am using Windows 7 on this computer with latest Jaws 17 update.
