Well, anyways, I just found out about it, and I wanted to let anyone know
about it who have not tried out bookshare yet. This way they can try it out
for free. Then only $50 per year after that. This is cheap, in my opinion
for the ability to download hundreds of books per month, many of which are
not on BARD. I think that this is a newer offer.

That's been going on for years now, if memory serves.
I spoke to someone who was a volunteer with bookshare once upon a time, and
that was when I was informed.
I think this was a few years ago.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Information about bookshare subscriptions

Good afternoon Jaws Users group. I just found out from doing some research
for a member of my W-10 and Jaws group. That certain state libraries for the
blind will pay for the first year of bookshare for first time members of
bookshare. Call your state library and see if they support this program. You
must fill out a form that they will provide you. After you are accepted,
they will send you a code to give to bookshare. This code will allow you to
use bookshare free for one year. This saves you $75 for the cost of the
first year. Starting the second year, you will only pay $50 per year for the
bookshare subscription service.

For your information I have separated the W-10 and Jaws group into two yahoo
groups, and have added, A new Christian yahoo group called, The River. The
subscribe link is:

[email protected]
<mailto:[email protected]>

This makes it much easier for me and gives me more people to help run both
groups as I battle with my cancer. So anyhow, give bookshare a free try for
one year. God bless and thank you for your prayers.
