Hi.
I'm going to quote the second item of the troubleshooting in the
SpeakDropbox documentation. Hopefully this helps.
That chevron button someone mentioned in this thread that you can hit
once you hit windows+b to expose all tray icons can be disabled so that
all icons are always displayed. This may or may not fix your issue,
since Dropbox typically is always displayed even when the chevron button
is hiding some icons, Dropbox itself generally refuses to be hidden. If
this is in fact what the problem is, the explanation for this is that
SpeakDropbox can't read the Dropbox icon if the Dropbox icon isn't visible.

SpeakDropbox either says no Dropbox icon found when there truly is a
Dropbox icon, or can't find SpeakDropbox icon when well, obviously
SpeakDropbox is
running.
This could happen if windows decides that either application isn't
particularly active right now and hides it's icon to make room for more
pressing matters.
I solve problems like this which haunt screen readers as much as
something like SpeakDropbox by going to the task bar customization page
in control panel.
Easy way to get there could be just to type "task" into the search box
of start menu or start screen. Find something about task bar. May be
"task bar and
notification", perhaps "customize the taskbar". Once you get it, look
first for a combo box that has something like 3 items in it. If you get
the right
box, there should be one item that says "never combine". It may be
helpful to change the combo box to this option also. But the big fix is
to hit the customize
button. Look in the resulting dialogue for something like "always show
all icons and notifications on the task bar". Checking this and then
choosing ok
ought to solve this particular problem nicely.

It is the command for opening up SpeakDropbox
Patti,
What is alt windows key D command?
Try leaving out the alt key and just press windows D or windows M to go to
the desktop, And press the letter D for the dropbox icon enter.
Dropbox should open up.
Or maybe you do not have drop box icon on your desktop, Adios,

Hey Gang,
Ok I'm running windows10 on a 64 bit, and Jaws 17.
How do I get to where the notifications are, to make sure my dropbox is
there.
I see it in the system tray, but the SpeakDropbox isn't working.
It is saying when I press alt windows key D, no dropbox icon found
Please help.
