Hi David, I agree, the restore is not at all accessible in W-10, no, I do not think you can make a restore on a flash drive.

So far as it being saved on a flash drive, I would think the answer is no since they do not allow file sizes beyond a certain point. Believe me if somebody could come up with a repair disk including sound drivers, they would make a lot of lives easier.
