I am a little lost with this problem. My grandson started at Kutztown college last week. The office for the blind purchased a laptop and printer for him . He called me to tell me that it does not work. I just learned from the guy that delivered the equipment to my home set it up to use my home network. I plan to pick up a printer cable if I really need it. Anyway what steps do you need to take to set up his printer in his dorm room? Can the laptop and printer talk without being on a network? Will collages allow you to add a printer? I will have about an hour to fix it for him.
