[JAWS-Users] virtual recorder

How does virtual recorder work, I understand the program uses the sound card in 
place of a microphone as an audio input.  but would I beable to use the 
recording feature of GoldWave  or does virtual recorder have its own recording 
feature.
I have a 
dell st 2421l intell audio sound card not sure if virtual recorder supports 
this.
