Hi All!
I don't know what all the fuss over the authorization code is. When I
first bought JAWS some three years ago, they provided a disc which had
the information JAWS needs to start the activation process, the rest
comes from Freedom Scientific's activation servers.
Ever since then, if I needed to activate JAWS after reinstalling
Windows, all I needed was my JAWS serial number, which I memorized.
Of course I've always done my activations over the internet, the
activation code might be needed if you are doing a manual activation.
Cheers!

Maria, that's the Nemeth code, or at least how it used to be. I'm

I don't know if any changes have been made, but my authorization
number on
the disk is a job to read, as there are no capitals or number signs to
differentiate between letters and numbers.

It's on the CD that comes with the original installation of Jaws.

Where do you go to see this authorization number, I thought it was in
the about dialog, but all that's there is my serial number and the
unlocking code. Both of which are shown in their entirety.

Howdy SeƱor Ferrin,
That's why I said , * it might work for you*. But, it seems to me
that I've used a program in the past that unhides text in other
situations & I can't think of it's name.
Take care.

Mike, that program reveals passwords in your browser or email
client. I don't believe it would work in this situation. Good guess
though, an A for effort.

Hi Adam,
1st a suggestion. You should put your signature below your message,
so people will read your post & not think you forgot to include a
question because they're seeing your signature 1st.
Look on this website for a program called Asterisk Logger, it's a
password revealing program, it might work for you.
