Miriam, Just press control-alt-v to paste. The text Mike suggests you copy goes to the clipboard. The way to get text from the clipboard is to press control-alt-v.
There's another way to read the person's address that doesn't involve copying and pasting. Set up a reply to the message with control-r, then arrow down. The "From" line will display the address in a form JAWS can navigate letter by letter.
