He's asking about OCR programs that work with Jaws.
His secondary question is off topic, as he's hoping his friend can get him
the PDF document to him all scanned and accessible, but if his friend, who
owns a MAC cannot, he's asking for an OCR program he can run on his Windows
based computer running Jaws 17 and 18.

I have some scanned PDF files a sighted friend who has a Macintosh wants

Note he does not have access to the non-scanned copies. Do you have a
Recommendation for a good (preferably free) OCR program for
Macintosh so JAWS can read scanned PDF files?
If not, any accessible programs I can run with JAWS myself to run OCR on
