Just so we are on the same page here. Are you sure that you are using the latest Skype scripts? I am just thinking that if you upgraded JAWS to 7.1 but did not get the latest scripts, it is entirely possible that the old scripts will not compile under JAWS 7.1.
Having said that, I do not have Skype and know nothing about it's scripts, and, in theory, the scripts are typically backwards compatable, so old scripts typically work with new versions of JAWS, but not always. -- Blue skies.
