There is no such thing as a silly question on this list at all. No they don't 
really become a part of skype, it's just that they will allow you more access 
to the program. If you delete the scripts and do nothing else then JAWS will 
default to it's own script files and do the best it can with the program.

I was just thinking, do the scripts then become part of skype? I haven't 
tried uninstalling that, and if I do, will the script settings go away or 
will they stay in wait for the re-install? I do hope these aren't silly 
questions.
