Thanks, Christine. That was easy!! There were four different things to put "on" so I did all of them in total ignorance. I was trying to sign in to a grocery store chain in the midwest that does a lot of on line ordering and delivering. They use Java which does not work very well with jaws. After turning on the java stuff, I was able to play with the edit fields--actually, find them and sign in. If anyone would like to give some background on java, I'd like to learn because there is another site, ancestry.com that uses it as well. Ancestry just redesigned its search boxes, causing some glitches for me. Their tech support people have no clue about jaws or any other accessibility issue. marilyn
