The Reset button resets everything to the installation defaults; that is, the default fields will be displayed in the default order, the pixel widths will be reset to their original values, etc. It's the way you get everything back to the way it was when Outlook Express was first installed if you've changed things and don't like the changes and can't remember exactly what you changed.
