While you are in the chat room in question open up the configuration manager
with insert+6 on the number row, not the number pad. Hit alt+S and arrow down
to HTML options. Then control tab until you arrive at the misc tab. Then tab
over until you hear refresh as needed and until it is turned off. Hit enter
and save your changes. This should make your problem go away.

Subject: [jaws-users] Stopping the refresh feature

Hi
I want to be able to use a particular chat room unfortunately it the
longest amount of time it will give me before refreshing is 45 seconds. I
can hardly find the messages before it refreshes. I thought there was a
feature in JAWS to control this but I can't seem to find it. Any ideas are
appreciated!
God bless,
Mark (Frederick)
