I don't have it set to log in all that crap is turned off.
I just turn my computer on and I'm instantly online.
I did go into options many times setting this new computer up and I'm very
sure I did select the wrong option and I pressed enter on notepad and there
you go..
I still have Office 2000 SR Professional installed on this computer use it
everyday that has not changed..
My computer is set up with all that adminstrator log in as off as I already
stated and my default name on the computer is not listed!

Of course if this is something else your referring to then I'll have to try
your steps here..

Hi Hailley,

HTML editor is the program you use to develop web pages.

If it has said MS Word in the past, then that would mean that you had
Microsoft Word or Office installed on your computer.

Have you recently uninstalled it or changed something on your computer
lately?

The other question is why you went into the Internet Options in the first
place.

Is this something you do on a regular basis, or did something happen that
made you want to check your internet options, such as trying to send an
e-mail through IE and not being able to, that sort of thing.

This information would be very helpful in diagnosing your problem.

I would also make sure you are logged in as the person you normally log in
as when you turn on your computer.

Sometimes I will inadvertently touch a button on my computer when it is
starting up and a log on screen will come on and I forget what my user name
is and it creates a whole new identity for me, so you might want to check
your start menu and arrow up to hear what Jaws says it gets to "Log off..."
option.

It should say Log off Hailley or something like that. What you need to find
out is if this is what is normally supposed to be there.

Sorry, not sure if I'm making any sense.

I can write a more detailed post when you write back with the information.

Victor
