I am using JAWS 7.0, and sometimes 7.1. I have one of the 7.x versions of
Adobe Acrobat, and at work I also have Adobe Professional 7.x. I need to
update them both, but just haven't had the time. Right now things are
working pretty well with PDF's, and I'm afraid that if I update my good luck
streak will abruptly end.

In Acrobat there is an check for update choice in the Help menu. A dialog
box will come up. You will need to select the updates that you want. You
move around in this dialog box as you usually do with tab and shift+tab.
You select with the space or the enter key depending on where you are in the
dialog box. If you haven't downloaded in a long time, it is a long process,
and you might have to go through the update process many times. Don't be
surprised if your computer has to reboot.
