Does anybody know if there's a setting anywhere in Windows (probably hidden
somewhere in Control Panel, if it exists at all) whereby I can force all
application installations to have their Start Menu, Desktop, and Startup
entries placed in the logged-on user's folders instead of the All Users
folders? For example, my wife and I both have logins on this computer, but
she's not blind. I just installed the software for the Book Port and it went
to the All Users folder, meaning that it would appear on the Start Menu and
Desktop for both of us, but it's of no interest or importance to her and she
hates a cluttered layout. Other programs that I install put their pointers
into the logged-on account folders by default and this is the behavior that
I'd like for everything, if possible.
