I recently was using a keyboard that did not have a windows key on it. While trying to fix another problem, I changed to the classic start menu. Then I lost the 'my computer' icon on my desktop, but it was no longer on my start menu either. So without the windows keys I couldn't re-create a desktop icon for my computer, and had to use windows explorer every time I wanted something on my hard drive. Bloody nuisance, that was. :) I rather like the XP start menu, but again am not sure which settings to use for a laptop display and Jaws.
