After installing the updated JAWSVid.dll file mentioned here yesterday, I 
installed version 6.8 of the ATI Catalyst video drivers and after rehooking 
JAWS video support and loading JAWS, the problems I had previously 
experienced are completely gone. For those for whom these drivers are 
appropriate, it's now safe to install them after installing the updated 
JAWSVid.dll file.

After you install the new JAWSVid and restart your computer, don't forget to 
copy the .dll from C:\Windows\System32\ to C:\Program Files\Freedom 
Scientific\JAWS\7.10\ as well. Otherwise, you'll wind up with the old 
version of JAWSVid when you run the JAWS Video Interrupt Manager in order to 
rehook video support after installing the ATI drivers.
