I can answer one question for you. The application key is between the
control and the alt key on the right side of your keyboard, if you have the
standard type.

Take care,
Lois

Thank you for these instructions.
Could you please clarify #3. I am not aware which key is the applications
key.
Also, I attempted to search for the topic in JAWS, but could not find a way
to entr a word or phrase to do a search .
So, I guess I have two questions.
1. which is the applications key?
2. how does one search in JAWS help for a topic by entering a keyword ?
many thanks .

Hi,

Maybe this will help?

The following instructions will allow you to set a Windows XP application to
always open maximized.

1. Press the Start Menu Key followed by P for Programs.

2. Use the Arrow keys to locate the desired application , but don't open it.

3. Press the Applications or Context Menu key.

4. Up Arrow to Properties and press enter. Alternatively you may press R
after releasing the Applications or Context Menu key.

5. Tab to the Run box, by default it's set to normal.

6. Use the down arrow to change the radial button to maximize.

7. Tab to the Apply button and press Enter.

8. Last Tab to Ok and press Enter.

That's it, now it will always open maximized. Note: In the case of Outllok
Express when you create a new message, you will still need to maximized the
new

window with Alt- spacebar and than X.
