Frankly, I prefer Ad-Shield to the Windows Pop-Up Blocker application 
because the latter has this annoying tendency to constantly put stuff on the 
top of the Internet Explorer window that has to be clicked on, which I find 
annoying as all get out.

oh, so your saying I don't need the Add shield then? I had it on the old
machine running win-98 and just figured I needed it for the new one too..
