Hi All,

Something I do that may help people is to use a Cd wallet of some kind.

I personally have a Cd wallet capable of holding over 30 CDs and when I put
a CD in it, I Braille a label for it out of thick stock, similar to a file
folder stock and cut out the part I labelled.

I then tape it to the CD wallet sleeve in front of the CD.

If it's a program or software, I usually Braille the serial number and
install key on the same tag.

Another thing I used to do is Braille the name of the CD, the serial number
and install key on the paper envelope that comes with the CD.

I can then keep track of what's in the CD sleeve and know exactly what the
serial and key numbers are.

A third option might be to type all the serial numbers and install keys into
a text file using Notepad and refer back to it when you need to.

If you don't like the fact that it's on your computer and it might blow up
someday, you can Braille out the information onto thick stock paper and keep
it separate and out of harms way in a vault, fire impenetrable safe or a
file cabinet somewhere.

A bank comes to mind.

suffice it to say, there are many ways to keep the serial number and install
key when you get it, you just have to be creative and apply yourself.

Oh, and by the way, a Braille labeller wouldn't be a bad idea, especially if
you want to keep them in their jewel cases.
