If you only have one sound card in your computer, then both the music and
JAWS are coming through that sound card and there is no way that I know of
to balance the voice and music signals. If you had a second sound card, you
could route JAWS to it and then, adjust the volume on each card
individually.

Subject: [jaws-users] My Music Is Too Loud

Hey Guys,

Sometimes people send emails to me that have music playing in the
background. Or, it is supposed to
be playing in the background. I am finding that many times the music is
much much louder than JAWS.
It is so loud that I can barely tell that JAWS is even speaking. I am
wondering if there is any way
that I can turn the volume of the music down, or turn the volume of JAWS up?
I can send a sample if
any of you want to hear what I am talking about. Any help will be greatly
appreciated.

See ya,
Scooter
